Editorial method and sources
Understand which local facts have been checked, what a map shows and what to confirm before booking equipment.
Use a source for the fact it can establish
Destination pages distinguish official resort information, geographical references, booking documents and photograph licences. A map can establish a location; it cannot establish a shop’s opening hours or services. Sources are attached to the facts they support.
Villages, sectors and nearby destinations
Sectors are grouped when their relationship within a destination has been established. Other local suggestions use geographical coordinates and straight-line distances. Those distances are not driving distances or evidence of a lift connection. Your collection point is the shop named in your booking.
Checks and update dates
A source check date applies to the source and the information indicated. The page update date reflects an actual content change and does not refresh automatically each day. References derived from older geographical data retain their provenance date.
Prices, stock and booking conditions
An unverified amount is not presented as a current offer. The booking service confirms the price, dates, age categories, pack contents and shop before payment. Collection hours, fitting, insurance and cancellation terms need to be checked for the chosen offer.
Photographs and reuse rights
Selected photographs depict the place or area named in their caption. A wider ski-area view may illustrate several sectors; the caption identifies the actual location shown. Photographer, source and licence appear with each photograph. Display copies may be resized or converted to WebP.
