What makes a useful ski arrival plan

A good plan ends at the actual accommodation and equipment collection point, not a broad mountain name. It identifies the last railway station, coach stop, gondola or funicular and the final movement with bags. A shared ski area is not evidence that its villages have one pickup address.

Use the visual cards and country filters to choose the relevant topic. Train, airport, resort and country labels show what each guide covers before opening it.

Distances, sources and travel dates

Published distances and ride times keep their original endpoints and transport mode. We do not turn straight-line map distances into road kilometres or travel times. If a reliable measurement is unavailable, the guide says so rather than filling the table with an estimate.

Source dates describe the scope actually reviewed. Timetables, winter-road access, fares and seat availability require a fresh check for the booked date. Reusing an existing resort-topology source does not make its verification date newer.

Connect travel and equipment collection

After choosing the base, open its linked rental destination to search equipment. Compare collection and return around the practical first and last ski day. For transfers, use the existing transfer search with the actual origin, destination, group and baggage rather than duplicating the partner’s checkout.
